Ilkley Playhouse is a flourishing amateur "Little Theatre" in Ilkley (by coincidence in the next street to our head office!). Recently, they have had a number of improvements to their main theatre, and have had constructed a drama workshop (The Wildman Theatre) next door. We were awarded the contract for the improvements to the lighting for the main theatre, and also for the full installation of curtains, audio equipment and all the electrical installation including the stage lighting for this new endeavour.

The first picture shows the dimmer packs & patch system we installed for the main theatre. There are 48 channels of dimming which are connected by DMX to their 48 channel Sirius desk. There is also access to the DMX in the main auditorium for setting up purposes. The patch below the dimmers allows each channel to be connected to the appropriate of the 66 sockets on the stage and in the auditorium. |
These pictures show two views of the Wildman Theatre.

Finally, here are the dimmer packs for the Wildman Theatre, again connected by DMX, this time to the Sirius 24 desk in the control room. As there are 72 x 15A sockets in the theatre, 56 on the lighting bars and 16 around the room, this explains the need for the patch arrangements below the dimmer packs. |
